A social worker's role is to identify students that may have certain issues or concerns that could interfere with learning. The social worker can address those needs in groups and one-on-one sessions. Students will learn how to appropriately manage their day-to-day issues while in school. A student may be referred to the social worker by an administrator, teacher, counselor, or behavioral interventionist. For more information about the services that the general educational social worker provides, please click the services tab above. If you are interested in your child meeting with the social worker, please click the contact tab and send me a message.
504 PlansThe 504 Plan is a legal document, similar to an IEP, that provides very specific accommodations to a student. The accommodations may include: extended time on tests, quieter testing space, short breaks, and so on. To be eligible for services under a 504 Plan, your child must have a disability that limits one or more major life activities. To learn more, please click on the services tab above.

Blue Knights Extras is our new clothing and hygiene closet that provides important basic needs to our students. Some of our items include: shampoo, body wash, deodorant, underwear, uniform shits and pants, and more! If you wish to donate, please click the contact tab and send me a message.
Referral to outside ResourcesEvery student is different and may come to the social worker with different issues and concerns. If the social worker assesses a student and it's identified that student is in need of more support, then a referral will be made to an outside agency. For more information about referrals, please click the services tab above.
